The Southside Six is a teen-owned babysitting business based in Bismarck, North Dakota. We're six 13-year-old friends who love kids, love being active, and love making families' lives a little easier and a lot more fun.
We started this business because we wanted to not only build our responsibility and leadership skills but also impact our community. Our goal is to make things easier for every family in Bismarck! Every one of us brings something unique to the table, from board games to homework help to outdoor adventures.

Standard childcare with fun activities and attentive supervision.
While you enjoy your evening out — we can take care of your pets and children.
We provide not only babysitting but also tutoring! Our babysitters all have different strengths in many subjects.
No matter if it's a wedding, party, or church event — we keep kids engaged so you can attend.
For just a $5 flat fee, we'll feed and walk your pets as part of our visit.
Available on holidays and special occasions (premium rate applies).

Safety & Standards 🛟
Your child's safety is our #1 priority.
We know what to do in an emergency. Parent contact is always our first step, followed by 911 if needed.
All allergy information is collected at booking and followed strictly during every visit.
We keep parents updated throughout the sitting.
We encourage screen-free activities and follow any screen-time rules you've set.
Medication administration and bedtime routines are followed exactly as specified by parents.
Positive redirection only. We never use harsh discipline and always lead with kindness.

Our Policies 📋
Clear expectations so everyone's on the same page.
Free cancellation 24+ hours before. Within 24 hours may require partial payment. No-shows charged full rate.
Arriving later than the set end time or after 10 PM incurs a +$3 flat fee unless otherwise discussed. Please communicate any delays promptly.
Cash or Cash App. Payment is due at the end of each session. No advance payment required.
We default to screen-free activities. If you have specific screen-time rules, just let us know at booking.
